At Colonel Kababz, we don’t just serve food — we serve a legacy.
Our story begins in the heart of the Indian Army, where Late Colonel K.N. Kochhar, fondly remembered as “Kaku,” transformed his love for cooking into a culinary journey that lives on to this day. A decorated officer who served the nation from 1958 to 1988, the Colonel was just as fearless in the kitchen as he was on the battlefield. Posted across the country, he explored regional cuisines with a soldier’s discipline and a chef’s curiosity, crafting recipes that blended authenticity with flair.
What started as a post-retirement hobby soon turned into a timeless brand. The Colonel’s original recipes—handcrafted, perfected in Army kitchens, and infused with the warmth of camaraderie—became the soul of Colonel Kababz.
Since 1990, we’ve proudly served from our display kitchens in iconic locations like Defence Colony, Som Vihar, NSCI Club, Pragati Maidan, and Delhi Cantt’s Sabre Officers Mess. Today, we carry forward the Colonel’s values of discipline, excellence, and hospitality in everything we do—from a small family celebration to a grand corporate gala.
Our newly launched Catering Division is an extension of this rich heritage. Whether it’s a wine and cheese soirée, a themed event, or a kid’s birthday party, Colonel Kababz brings you the same attention to detail, heartfelt service, and unforgettable flavours.
